Our History

Agrícola El Toro was founded in 1992 in the fertile Ciudad Morelos region of the Mexicali Valley, a location known for its ideal growing conditions. The farm initially focused on cultivating high-quality radishes, green onions, and asparagus, providing fresh produce to meet local and regional demand. By 1996, with a forward-thinking approach, Agricola El Toro expanded its operations and began transitioning to organic farming practices. This commitment to sustainability and quality has led to the development of over 3,500 acres of certified organic farmland, positioning us as a leader in the organic agriculture sector. Today, Agricola El Toro continues to thrive as a trusted provider of fresh, healthy produce to a global market with a current crop list that includes green onions, iceberg, romaine, broccoli, broccolini and celery.
